Disc golf is what brings it all together for me Adventure, family, friends, challenges, photography, design, structure, fun and it fuels my fire to want be better at it all.
“Life is a journey, so bring plenty of discs”
"Disc Golf is a way for me to challenge myself physically and mentally while getting away from life’s other stressors. Being outside is where I really enjoy my time, whether that be in a field or the middle of the woods. I love getting to play a sport where I am able to travel the state and see all sorts of different environments!"
"Disc golf to me is about personal challenge and meeting new people. Fit Inspired and CADL have shown me what disc golf, the community and the sport are really about!"
"For along time, Disc Golf was just for the fun of it. It was an easy way to hang out with my friends and to relax. Then I discovered tournaments. That’s when I fell in love with the sport. It gave me a different perspective of what disc golf could be and what my skills actually were. I’ll always play disc golf to hang out with my friends and tournaments keep me pushing to be better. That’s why I love this sport."
"After my first full round, I got maybe 1 birdie and was totally and completely hooked. All of my discs are pink as I hope to one day get my daughters into the game when they get older. Many of you may also know our Beagle puppy named Taco. He is the definition of a disc-dog and he can be seen by my side during a quick round at any of our home courses (IBM, Cedar Hills or Kentwood). Disc golf will always be my escape from the complexities of the real world while getting the benefits of exercise and the great outdoors. I’ll see you all out there to bang some chains together!"
“Whatever I do, I want to be the best. I’ve been involved in sports all my life so once I found disc golf it just felt right. Here’s something where you can really push yourself and at the end of the day it’s just you and those 18 holes. Kind of similar to life, you only get this one so make it count. “
